Terms of Service
Last updated 13 July 2026
These terms govern your use of FilmKit, a client-delivery platform for video studios (projects, file delivery, client galleries, revision review, bookings, and invoicing). By creating an account or accessing FilmKit, you agree to these terms.
Beta status
FilmKit is in active beta. Features may change, and the service is provided as-is without uptime guarantees during this period. We'll do our best to give notice of major changes affecting your account or projects.
Accounts & roles
Organizations ("Operators") control who has access to their projects and data, including staff and client accounts. Operators are responsible for the accuracy of information they enter and for managing access granted to their team and clients.
Your content
You retain ownership of the video files, documents, and other content you upload to FilmKit. You're responsible for having the rights to any content you upload and for complying with applicable law when sharing it with clients via the platform.
Client galleries & links
Tokenized gallery links grant access to whoever holds the link. You are responsible for sharing links only with intended recipients and for revoking access when appropriate.
Payments
Paid plans, when introduced, are billed through Stripe. Pricing and billing terms will be presented at the point of purchase. During beta, use is free unless otherwise agreed with you directly.
Acceptable use
Don't use FilmKit to store or distribute content you don't have rights to, to harass or abuse other users, or to attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the service.
Termination
You may stop using FilmKit and request deletion of your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or pose a security risk to the platform.
Liability
FilmKit is provided as-is during beta, without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, FilmKit is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
